We have successfully implemented SprayCapture at BMW Motorrad Werk Berlin, supporting the ramp-up of a new paint line and the stabilization of the painting process in motorcycle production.
A key part of the project was the development and optimization of the brush, including the search for suitable process parameters and their validation directly in production. The solution also enables objective coating thickness measurement and the confirmation of key quality-related aspects of the paint process.
The application focuses on:
start-up of a new paint shop
stabilization and data-driven control of the painting process
objective measurement and evaluation of coating thickness
brush development
The BMW Berlin team demonstrated a highly proactive mindset and quickly embraced data-driven analysis. SprayCapture is now helping to bring greater transparency, consistency, and confidence into key phases of production.
